From Discipline to Discovery: Kev’s Gym Goes Global — Training in Chiang Mai & Racing in Lisbon
At Kev’s Gym, we believe in one simple truth: movement is medicine.
But every once in a while, it’s important to step outside your routine… and fully immerse yourself in a lifestyle that challenges, resets, and elevates you.
That’s exactly what I’m about to do.
I’m heading back to Chiang Mai, Thailand for 4–6 weeks to build a complete, holistic training camp—one that pushes every dimension of physical and mental performance.
This isn’t a vacation.
This is a mission.
The Vision: A Fully Immersive Training Camp
Chiang Mai offers something rare—an environment where you can strip life down to the essentials and rebuild from the ground up.
For the next month (or more), my daily routine will revolve around:
- Running & Endurance Training
Early morning miles through the mountains, heat adaptation, and long-distance conditioning. - Strength & CrossFit-Style Workouts
Functional training, bodyweight movements, and gym sessions focused on durability and performance. - Muay Thai (Thai Kickboxing)
Discipline. Precision. Controlled aggression. One of the most intense and humbling training methods in the world. - Yoga & Mobility
Recovery is just as important as effort. Daily sessions to improve flexibility, prevent injury, and stay balanced. - Ice Baths & Recovery Protocols
Building resilience—physically and mentally—through discomfort and controlled stress. - Clean, Intentional Nutrition
Fresh, whole foods. Lean proteins. Hydration. Fueling the body for performance—not indulgence.
This is about more than fitness.
It’s about alignment—mind, body, and purpose.

At the end of this training block, there’s a clear objective:
Run a marathon in Lisbon, Portugal.
This isn’t just another race.
It’s the culmination of weeks of focused, intentional living.
Every early morning run.
Every drop of sweat in Muay Thai.
Every cold plunge.
Every disciplined meal.
It all leads to the starting line.
And when I toe that line in Lisbon, I’m not just running 26.2 miles—
I’m carrying the momentum of an entire lifestyle transformation.
